"La Estación"

La Estación está situada en la antigua estación de ferrocarril de Lucena. Es el edificio mejor conservado de la arquitectura industrial del último tercio del siglo XIX de la localidad, fue inaugurado tras un proceso de rehabilitación en el que el Ayuntamiento ha llevado a cabo una inversión de 56.000 euros acometido por la Escuela Taller San Juan de Dios VII.
Presenta una sala principal con expositores que reflejan las costumbres y tradiciones de Lucena como son: alfarería, bronce y orfebrería, vino, aceite, madera y fiestas y tradiciones. Junto a la sala principal se encuentra una sala de audiovisual en la que se puede ver un reportaje en el se refleja la historia de Lucena a través de sus tradiciones populares.Consta de dos plantas:

Planta baja:

• Centro de interpretación.
• Oficina Comarcal de Turismo.
• Sala de proyecciones.
• Tienda de recuerdos.

Planta primera:

• Mirador.
• Delegación Municipal de Turismo.
• Red de ciudades medias
• Consejo local de Turismo.
• Asociaciones de Turismo.
  

Además del Museo, el edificio alberga las sedes de la Asociación de la Automoción Antigua y la del Club de Ciclismo Lucentino. La muestra de coches, motos y piezas relacionadas con la automoción antigua no será permanente sino que que tiene lugar el primer domingo de cada trimestre, de forma que los visitantes puedan conocer vehículos diferentes, propiedad de los 38 socios que componen la Asociación.

Actualmente, la vía del tren, situada detrás de la estación, forma parte del camino de la Vía Verde. Además, al lado de ella han instalado un restaurante" La Estación" y una zona de juego,donde podéis contemplar una maravillosa vista de Lucena.

The station is located in the old train station in Lucena. It is the best preserved building of industrial architecture of the last third of the nineteenth century the town was opened after a rehabilitation process in which the Council has carried out a € 56,000 investment undertaken by La Escuela Taller San Juan de Dios VII.

It has a main hall with displays that reflect the customs and traditions of Lucena as: pottery, bronze and gold, wine, oil, wood and celebrations and traditions. Next to the main hall is an audiovisual room where you can see a story in history is reflected through its Lucena lore.It has two floors:

• Interpretation Centre.
• Regional Bureau of Tourism.
• Screening Room.

First floor:

• Mirador.
• Municipal Tourism Delegation.
• Average Cities Network
• Local Tourism Council.
• Tourism Associations.
  

Besides the museum, the building houses the headquarters of the Association of the Automotive Antigua and Lucentino Cycling Club. The sample of cars, motorcycles and related parts to the automotive former will not be permanent but that takes place the first Sunday of each quarter, so that visitors can see various vehicles owned by the 38 partners that make up the Association.

Currently, the railway behind the station is part of the path of the greenway. Also, next to it have set up a restaurant "La Estación" and a play are, where you can contemplate Lucena's wonderful sight.
