LUCENA DE LAS TRES CULTURAS.

Bajo este nombre se recoge uno de los proyectos emblemáticos de la ciudad, dentro del objetivo general de recuperación de la tradición y la historia locales. Lucena de las Tres Culturas pretende revivir el espíritu de convivencia y confraternidad entre los pueblos y las diferentes culturas que en la Edad Media poblaron y enriquecieron la ciudad, llamada "La Perla de Sefarad", siempre desde una perspectiva festiva. Las jornadas tienen su precedente en las celebradas en el año 1995, que contribuyeron de forma decisiva a reivindicar la tradición multicultural de la ciudad desde el respeto y la tolerancia hacia las religiones musulmana, cristiana y judía. El mercado medieval, con sus puestos de artesanos y degustaciones, se convierte cada año en epicentro de las actividades, en cuyo programa se incluyen conciertos de música de las Tres Culturas, representaciones teatrales, conferencias, la cena medieval en el Patio de Armas del Castillo del Moral y exposiciones.
Estos festejos tienen lugar a finales del mes de octubre.

Lucena of Three Cultures tries to re-live through the spirit of living together and confraternity between the peoplesand the different cultures that in the Middle Ages populated and enriched the city, call "La perla de Sefarad's ", always from a festive perspective. The medieval market, with his craftsmen's positions and degustations, turns every year epicentre of the activities, whose program there are included concerts of music of Three Cultures, theatrical representations, conferences, the medieval dinner in the Patio de armas of the Castilllo del moral and exhibitions.
