El 30 de Mayo del 2005, Antonio Banderas inauguró los multicines artesiete de Lucena, a la vez que él recibía un galardón: el galardón "CINECITO", un reconocimiento que otorga la Fundación Lumiére.

Los Multicines constan de siete salas, de las cuales dos de ellas son más grandes, con la intención de que para los estrenos puedan acoger a más personas.

Los Multicines están abiertos todos los días incluidos los festivos y víspera de festivos.
