El altar mayor está presidido, por un bello retablo de estilo barroco salomónico. El convento anexo posee un bello patio, con dos cuerpos de arquerías en los claustros alto y bajo, y centrado con una monumental fuente de comienzos del siglo XVII.
Exteriormente este templo, de manera acorde con la austeridad franciscana, no hace demasiadas concesiones a los elementos decorativos fachada se reduce a un paramento de ladrillo en el cual se halla una sencilla portada de carácter manierista, poco resaltada con respecto al planto, con ingreso de medio punto dentro de un cajeamiento rematado por un frontón curvo, roto y vuelto en volutas con sendos remates ovoideos sobre pedestal, sobre la cual se sitúa una pequeña hornacina de medio punto con venera, también cajeada, con pilastras laterales, que cobija una imagen de Todo este conjunto se remata con una gran ventana que ilumina el interior del coro.En ángulo con respecto al plano de la fachada se alza la espadaña, de ladrillo visto sobre un alto pedestal que alcanza la altura del muro del hastial del templo. Su estructura es de dos cuerpos en orden decreciente: el primero con dos huecos de medio punto para campanas, y el segundo, rematado con un frontón curvo, con un solo vano.
